This Blow Off valve is for the Citroen DS3 1.6 Turbo engines, that have the electronically controlled bypass valves. It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures that have occurred. The problem is that diaphragm retaining ring is made from very thin plastic that goes brittle with heat cycles, and eventually fails.

This valve is the largest displacement valve that Forge currently produce. The unique design features a 50mm (2") aluminium piston (meaning no issues with split diaphragms) as we endeavour to continue our innovation, existing products are no exception.

This Blow Off, or Dump valve, is for the BMW 135/235 N55 3.0 Turbo engines 2012-2013 are PWG (Pneumatic Waste Gate) , that have the electronically controlled bypass valves.

The unique design will assist in reducing turbo lag and produce cooler air intake temperatures, The Forge turbo blanket will lose its flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures, so once fitted it should not be routinely removed as you will likely damage the blanket.
